The stage of the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts has been contributing to the SHU community and the families of Fairfield County for well over twenty years. We proudly welcome our new In-Resident professional theatre company, and producing partner, Connecticut Family Theatre (CFT). CFT will build upon the successes of the past by offering many additional programs and shows for students, families and educators. Although most of us never end up on stage for a career, it is safe to say that experiencing the performing arts during our academic years will some how influence as adults. Perhaps it will add a spark of creativity in our chosen profession, reduce our fear of public speaking, allow us to see a situation in our own lives from a new perspective or just appreciate the beauty of an artist’s work from the page to the stage. We hope that you will consider the beautifully refurbished Edgerton Center your arts center.
